About GYCU

Grameen Yuva Cricket Union (GYCU) empowers rural youth through cricket — building confidence, discipline, and opportunities. From local matches to the Amar Shaheed Sabu Premier League (ASPL), we connect villages, nurture talent, and create champions on and off the field.

Why we organise GYCU?

To fulfill these objectives, Grameen Yuva Cricket Union organizes various programs and activities throughout the year. GYCU was established after the Corona period in the memory of Amar Shaheed Sabu, who was a promising naval officer, who was martyred in December 2013, by his family members on 14 December 2021.
